A workout log that shows Apple Watch heart rate while you lift
Most strength apps either ignore the watch or turn the watch into a second logging screen. IronQ does one thing with it: it reads your heart rate from the Apple Watch and shows it on the phone next to the set you are doing and the rest timer that follows.
How it works
- Open IronQ on the watch, then start the workout on the phone.
- Your heart rate appears on the phone screen during the set.
- The rest timer counts down; you can watch your heart rate settle before the next set.
- Nothing to log on the watch itself.
IronQ runs on iPhone with a watchOS companion. It is in pre-launch; founding members get early access through TestFlight.
Founding membershipQuestions
Do I need the Apple Watch to use IronQ?
No. The watch adds live heart rate; the log, history, and rest timer work on the phone alone.
Does the watch app log sets?
No. It only supplies heart rate. Logging stays on the phone.
