Privacy
Last updated 4 October 2026. IronQ is a strength-training app. This page says plainly what it keeps about you and why.
What IronQ keeps
- Your account: your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code.
- Your training log: workouts, exercises, sets, weights, reps, heart rate during sets, cardio sessions, gyms, and the body weight, height, sex and date of birth you enter. It is kept on your phone and, when you back up, in IronQ's cloud database so it survives a lost phone.
- How long: your account and cloud training log are kept until you ask for them to be deleted (see Your choices). Usage records are kept to run and improve IronQ.
- Free tool answers: what you type into the Cut Plan and the other free tools, saved with the plan so you can claim it later. Plans nobody claims are deleted after 90 days.
- Usage records: which tool was used, which assistant or website sent you, and whether it worked. These record which fields were filled in, not what you typed.
- Payments: if you subscribe, Stripe handles the card. IronQ never sees or stores your card number; it keeps a record of the subscription and its status.
Apple Health
With your permission, the iPhone and Apple Watch app reads heart rate and writes your workouts to Apple Health. Health data is used only to run IronQ for you. It is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with anyone for their own purposes.
AI assistants you connect
If you connect IronQ to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or another assistant (see Connect), that assistant can read your training log after you sign in and tap Allow. The access is read-only. What the assistant does with what it reads is governed by that assistant's own privacy terms. Remove IronQ from the assistant's connector settings to end its access.
IronQ receives only what a tool needs: the numbers passed to a free tool, or which part of your log the assistant asked for. It never receives your conversation, and it never reads the assistant's memory, chat history or files.
Who processes it
- Supabase runs IronQ's database and sign-in.
- ChemiCloud hosts ironq.app.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Apple distributes the app and, if you use it, holds your Apple Health data on your devices.
IronQ does not sell personal data, does not show ads, and does not use advertising trackers.
Your choices
- You can use the app without ever backing up; your log then stays only on your phone.
- To get a copy of your data or have your account and cloud data deleted, email hello@ironq.app from the address you signed in with.
- IronQ is not meant for anyone under 16.
