IRONQ

Use IronQ inside your AI assistant

Ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or Meta Muse about your own training and get answers from your real IronQ log: every set, weight, rep and heart rate. It takes about two minutes, and the assistant can only read. It can never change or delete anything.

Your workouts, sets, records, cardio and profile. You sign in with your IronQ email once, and the assistant gets read-only access.

Claude

Any Claude plan. Free accounts can add one custom connector. Works on the web, the desktop app and the phone app once added.

  1. On claude.ai, open Customize → Connectors (older menus: Settings → Connectors).
  2. Tap +, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it IronQ and paste https://ironq.app/mcp. Tap Add.
  4. The free tools work straight away. The first time you ask about your own training, Claude shows a Connect button: enter your email, type the code IronQ emails you, then tap Allow.

Already added https://ironq.app/mcp/me? It keeps working. Full guide, tools and troubleshooting: IronQ for Claude.

Try: Using IronQ, how did my training volume change over the last four weeks?

ChatGPT

Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education, on chatgpt.com in a browser. Free ChatGPT accounts cannot add connectors.

  1. Open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode. (If you do not see it there, look under Settings → Apps → Advanced settings.)
  2. Go to Apps (called Plugins in some accounts) and tap + to create an app.
  3. Name it IronQ, paste https://ironq.app/mcp/me, and choose OAuth for authentication.
  4. Sign in on the IronQ page that opens and tap Allow.
  5. In a new chat, tap +, choose Developer mode, and switch IronQ on.
ChatGPT labels everything added this way as a developer app and may show a warning. That is ChatGPT's standard wording for any app it has not reviewed. IronQ's connector is read-only.

Try: Use IronQ to show my best leg press sets and whether I am still progressing.

Gemini

Personal Google accounts in the US, 18 or older, in English. Gemini Apps Activity (Keep Activity) must be on, or the connection silently does nothing.

  1. On gemini.google.com, open Settings → Connected Apps.
  2. Under Custom apps, choose Add a custom app.
  3. Paste https://ironq.app/mcp/me and tap Next.
  4. Sign in on the IronQ page that opens and tap Allow. IronQ then works in Gemini on the web and on your phone.

Try: Ask IronQ which muscle groups I have trained least this month.

Grok

Grok accounts on grok.com. Business and Enterprise workspaces need their admin to allow custom connectors first.

  1. Go to grok.com/connectors.
  2. Tap New Connector, then Custom.
  3. Paste https://ironq.app/mcp/me.
  4. Sign in on the IronQ page that opens and tap Allow.

Try: Using IronQ, summarise my last workout set by set.

Meta Muse

Muse does not yet let people paste a connector address. Reading your own IronQ log from Muse needs Meta to list IronQ in its connector directory; until then, Muse can use the free tools.

Today: the free tools

  1. In Muse, ask it to create a custom connector, and give it this description: https://ironq.app/openapi.json
  2. For example: Create a custom connector for IronQ using the API described at https://ironq.app/openapi.json. It needs no key.

Muse can then build a Cut Plan, work out a protein target, or explain a weight-loss plateau.

Other agents and apps

Anything that accepts a remote MCP server: Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Perplexity, agent frameworks.

  1. Add a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP) with the address https://ironq.app/mcp/me. It signs in with OAuth 2.1 and registers itself automatically.
  2. For the free tools, use https://ironq.app/mcp, which needs no sign-in.
  3. Tools that speak OpenAPI instead of MCP (for example a custom GPT's Actions) can use https://ironq.app/openapi.json, which describes the free tools as plain web calls.

What the assistant can and cannot do

  1. It can only read. The sign-in it receives is locked by IronQ's database so it cannot add, change or delete anything.
  2. It sees only your data, and only after you tap Allow on IronQ's own sign-in page.
  3. You can switch it off at any time by removing IronQ from the assistant's connector settings.
  4. What you ask stays with the assistant you use. Answers it reads from IronQ are handled under that assistant's own privacy terms. See IronQ's privacy policy.
  5. If the assistant says there is no data, open the IronQ app, sign in with the same email and tap BACK UP MY WORKOUTS.
